Principal: Noel Murphy

From 1991 to 1997, Mr. Murphy worked with the securities and brokerage group of Deloitte & Touche in San Francisco. As engagement manager, he was responsible for services provided to a select group of Office of the Chairman clients including Charles Schwab, Montgomery Securities, E*Trade Securities, and the Pacific Stock Exchange.

He joined Montgomery Securities as Vice President for Financial Analysis in 1997. Prior to the firm’s acquisition by NationsBank, he was responsible for the firm’s strategic plan and acted as the primary finance liaison to the firm’s business units including institutional sales & trading, private client, and corporate finance. In a similar capacity, he was Vice President for the investment bank of Thomas Weisel Partners and acted in the role of chief financial officer in the first year of the firm.

From 2000 to 2002, he was the Chief Financial Officer for 12, a technology venture firm formed by Halsey Minor of Cnet and Eric Greenberg of Scient. Prior to founding DTS Group, Mr. Murphy was an advisor with Private Capital Management.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of San Francisco in Business Administration and Accounting in 1990. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in California and is a member of the AICPA and the Financial Planning Association.

He has been a Commissioner and Deputy of the Olympic Club of San Francisco since 1999. He has also served on the board of the Little School of Mill Valley & Tiburon. He is currently on the Investment Committee of Kiddo!, the Mill Valley Schools Community Foundation.
